Content of Your Art

Work that is racist, sexist, homophobic or prejudiced in any way will not be accepted.  If your work is found to be within those categories when set up in person at our event, you will  be asked to pack up and leave and no refunds will be given.


Plagiarism of any kind will not be tolerated.

Code of Conduct

In order to ensure the quality and enjoyment of the market and to promote a safe and positive atmosphere, all vendors involved with the market shall abide by the following Code of Conduct.

  • All persons shall act with respect toward other persons, their privacy, and safety.
  • Physical or verbal abuse of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • All persons shall treat private property and equipment with respect.

Please report any activity that is deemed inappropriate to our organizers or venue staff. Any violation of the Code of Conduct by a vendor will result in the immediate removal from the markets without refund. 

Cancellation Policy

Show fees are non-refundable unless the show is cancelled, or in the event of proven vendor illness.

Security/ Indemnification:

The organizers are not responsible for any damage or theft of personal belongings or merchandise, or loss of any product. 


Vendors are recommended to have their own general liability insurance. The producer, vendor, vendor employee is solely responsible for damages resulting from the sale of unsafe or unsound goods, in addition to any accidents occurred while at the event.

Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Witch City Wicks, Black Balloon productions, the City of Salem its affiliates, employees, agents from any and all liability, loss or damages which may be incurred as a result of all claims, demands, costs, judgments or expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising from the producer’s participation in the Midnight Moon Market.


No Reselling

You are not allowed to sell anything that you did not make. 

If you have something for sale on your table such a new item you are reselling or another artist’s work, you will be asked to remove it from your table.

Booth Sharing

Booth sharing is allowed. No more than 2  people may split a booth. If you plan on sharing a booth, this information needs to be given during the application process.

Inclimate Weather policy

This event happens indoors and will occur rain or shine.

Selling Your Vendor Space

This is NOT ALLOWED. If you do this you will be banned from this event permanently.

Tax information

In Massachusetts, Tax ID Numbers are required to sell merchandise to the public. Vendors must be in compliance with State & Federal tax laws.
