Meet the organizer
Liz Frazier is best known as the owner of Salem based hand-crafted candle company, Witch City Wicks. She started her business in 2011 as a home-based hobby that grew into a thriving small business with a robust online presence. In 2017, she opened a gorgeous brick and mortar shop located in downtown Salem. It has become a must-visit destination when in town, with a vision of creating a unique and inspiring shopping experience that extends beyond just a candle shop.
Liz’s past event experience, aside from vending multiple markets in the early days of her business, includes being one of the organizers of the enormous (and now sadly discontinued event) Daughters of Darkness festival and the holiday themed Grave Tidings Market.
With the idea to bring forth new events located in Salem, to feature some of the area’s best artists and creators, Midnight Moon Market sprang to life. The goal is to create a unique, curated shopping experience of unusual products for attendees, as well as feature and promote a community of artists and crafters.
As of now we’re hosting two events per year: Midnight Moon Market in the Spring and Grave Tidings dark holiday market in Winter.
