directions & Parking

From Route 1A:

Take Route 1A north to Canal Street. Continue straight onto Canal Street, then take a slight left onto Washington Street. Turn right onto Front Street; Old Town Hall is on the left. 

From Route 128: 

Take Route 128 to Exit 25A for Rte. 114 East towards Salem, and follow Route 114 until you reach Norman Street. Take a right onto Norman Street and then a left onto Washington Street. Turn right onto Front Street; Old Town Hall is on the left. 

The MBTA Commuter Rail's Newburyport/Rockport Line provides frequent service from Boston's North Station to Salem's intermodal transit station. The station is a five minute walk from Old Town Hall. 

From Salem Station, walk up the main staircase to the intersection. Take a left onto Washington Street and follow Washington Street south for 0.2 miles, then take a left onto Follett Way. Follow Follett Way and continue straight onto Derby Square. Old Town Hall will be on the right.

Surface parking is available at the Front Street and Klop Alley lots across from Old Town Hall. A parking garage is also available at Museum Place Mall along Essex Street.
